What to Do?
Once you have everything you need, print or draw numbers 1-10 that will match the holes in the egg carton. Open the egg carton and place the paper numbers in the holes and fill the flat part of the carton with soil. Then, mark the carrots from 1-10. “Plant” the carrots and invite your child to harvest them. Encourage them to find the numbers and match them, making it a game.
As they play and learn, they will also get the chance to get their hands messy with soil, which can help to increase serotonin levels and promote a sense of happiness. So, be sure to let them dig in the soil and enjoy the activity to the fullest.
Easter Q-Tips Peg Cardboard
Bunny hops into Easter with this fun and engaging Q-Tips Peg Cardboard activity that develops fine motor skills, and also provides a “hoppy” opportunity to create colorful Easter artwork! It’s a fun and creative way to keep kids engaged while also providing an opportunity to develop their hand-eye coordination.
What Will You Need?

To begin, make sure to have an equal number of cups as the colors you plan to create. Fill each cup approximately one-third full with water and add a few drops of different food coloring to each cup.
Next, soak the Q-tips in the cups to absorb the coloring. Once they are fully colored, take them out and let them dry on a piece of wax paper. When the Q-tips are completely dry, use scissors to cut them in half.
After preparing the colored Q-tips, it’s time to move on to the cardboard tracing shapes. Draw your Easter tracing shapes on the cardboard using a pencil or pen. Then, poke tiny holes in the pattern with a skewer or screwdriver. Make sure to space the holes evenly and keep them small to ensure the Q-tips fit snugly.
Once you have completed the pattern, it’s time to fill the holes with colorful Q-tips. This Easter activity will help develop fine motor skills as children work to manipulate the Q-tips and place them into the holes.

- Tear-free liquid soap
- 1 Cup Water
- Hand mixer
- Large bowl for mixing
- Food coloring (optional)
- Easter accessories: like plastic eggs, plastic carrots
- Pom-poms
What to Do?
Add the liquid soap and water to a big bowl and mix it with a hand mixer until stiff peak forms.
You can add food coloring too.
Dump it into the Easter sensory bin and add pom-poms, flowers, plastic eggs, or Easter toys of your choice.

Cotton Bunny Greeting Card
This cute and simple cotton bunny greeting card is a perfect way to keep a memory of your child’s small feet and adorable face. It is perfect for Easter or any occasion.You’ll need a printer for this craft.
What Will you Need?
- Bunny printable template
- Baby face picture
- Cotton balls
- Paint
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Pritt glue stick
Instructions
Start by gently painting the bottom of your little one’s cute feet with the pink paint.
Make sure the coverage is even and that the paint doesn’t drip or smear.
You can also use a foam brush or a sponge brush if you prefer.
Once the paint is dry, carefully cut around the outline of each painted foot using scissors. Be sure to cut along the edges to get a clean outline of the footprints.
Next, print out the free printable bunny template and cut out the bunny shape.

Print out a picture of your little bunny’s face and cut it to fit the bunny’s shape. Use a Pritt glue stick to attach the face to the bunny’s head.
Now it’s time to add some fluffy texture to your Easter card. Apply glue to the body and ears of the bunny, avoiding the face, and press cotton balls onto the glue. Use as many cotton balls as you’d like to create a fluffy Easter bunny effect.
Finally, attach the tiny feet to the bottom of the bunny shape using glue. You can also add a message or personalize the card with your child’s name or a special note.

I love cardboard recycling. It’s one of my favorite crafting supplies, and combining it with natural materials is my real number one activity.
Recycling is a great way to help reduce waste and protect our environment. It’s also an opportunity to get creative and make something new out of materials that might otherwise go to waste.
What Will You Need?

Cut the carrot taproot shape from the cardboard using scissors. Make sure it is the size and shape that you desire.
Next, it’s time to decorate the carrot! Apply glue to the carrot taproot shape. Then, begin attaching the red lentils and beans to the glue.
Although we used a glue gun and Lara spread the beans and lentils, without touching the glue.
I would recommend using a safer glue option such as Elmer’s glue.
Once you have attached the beans and lentils, it’s time to add the finishing touch.
Glue the bay leaves as the carrot leaves to the top of the carrot shape.
Make sure to arrange the bay leaves in a way that resembles the top of a carrot.
This easy craft idea can serve as a way to educate your kids about the importance of recycling while also encouraging their creativity.
Pom Pom Chicks
Pom poms are versatile materials that can be used in crafting to make various fun and colorful projects. This tutorial will provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to make cute Easter chicks using pom poms.
What Will you Need?

Start by selecting the size and color of pom poms you want to use for your chicks. Yellow pom poms are the perfect choice, but you can also use other colors if you prefer.
Cut out the shapes for the wings, beak, and comb from craft paper. You can use orange or red paper for the beak and comb, and any color paper for the wings.
Using Elmer’s glue, attach the wings to the sides of the pom pom, making sure they are even on both sides.
Glue the beak to the front of the pom pom, just below the center, leaving enough space for the eyes.
Next, attach the googly eyes to the pom pom, above the beak. You can use any size of googly eyes you prefer.
Finally, attach the comb to the top of the pom pom, in the center.

Let’s grow wheatgrass! It’s the perfect solution for those who want to create a lush and vibrant Easter display without a lot of effort.
What Will You Need?
- Wheat seeds
- Oval Metal Pot
- “Sprouting” container (any plastic container will work)
- Soil
- Water
- Hand Trowel
- Piece of cloth or clear foil that covers your container
- Easter decoration for the garden
Step-by-Step Guide
First, fill one container with soil. Then, add the wheat seeds to the “sprouting” container and soak them in water overnight. The next day, transfer the seeds to the container that you previously filled with soil and water them well. Cover the container with a piece of cloth or clear foil for one day.
Water the seeds well every day and keep the soil moist. After approximately 7 days, you’ll have a beautiful Easter Garden. However, if it’s not ready yet, don’t worry. Just be patient and give it a few more days.
Finally, decorate your Easter Garden with Easter accessories to give it a festive touch. You’ll love how easy and fun it is to create this gorgeous and natural Easter display!
Eggsperiment: How Strong is an Eggshell?
Let’s crack open the mystery of how strong an eggshell really is with this fun and egg-citing eggsperiment!It’s a great science exploration for any time of the year, but with an Easter twist, it can be carried out with painted Easter eggs.
What Will You Need?
- 1 egg
- 2 clear tapes
- Weights (glasses in different sizes)
- Water
What to Do?
Start the eggsperiment by placing the egg between two clear tapes to make it stand upright.
Next, choose the weights you’ll use for the experiment.
Glasses or cups of different sizes filled with water are perfect as they have a flat bottom and can be easily stacked.
Begin placing the weights on top of the egg, starting with the smallest and gradually increasing the weight.
Keep adding weights until the eggshell cracks, if it can, because our egg couldn’t break even with human force.
An egg is shaped like a strong arch, which means it’s really strong at the top and bottom, so it won’t break even if you add pressure to both ends.
Once the tapes are removed, the egg will crack because it is no longer supported by the arch shape created by the tapes.
